Things to do in Fuerteventura
Fuerteventura is mainly an island for surfers and windsurfers but there are still things to do and places to go.

1-Isla de Lobos
Situated just 3km from Corralejo, be prepared to take a picnic with you, then you can either explore the island by foot, or laze in the un-sheltered sunshine. The cheapest way to get to the island is by ferry that departs from Corralejo around 10am.

2-La Lajita
This sleepy little fishing village, with its black sandy beach, is beautiful in itself; however the zoo safari is a fun day out. The small zoo park is home to over 200 species of birds including toucans, cranes and pelicans. However you can also see monkeys, lizards and crocodiles.
Open daily from 9am – 7pm

3-Ferries to Lanzarote
The Armas ferry, which can be boarded at Corralejo, offers regular day trips to Playa Blanca in Lanzarote. Departure times are every two hours, starting from 8am from Monday through to Saturday with a reduced service on Sundays.

4-The Dunes of Fuerteventura
These impressive dunes sit just behind the resort of Corralejo, expanding along 10km  of coastline, this area has been declared a protected zone and is otherwise known as Parque Natural de las Dunas de Corralejo.
