Arona - 19.12.2007 - Eliseo de la Rosa and a second man, believed to be a local estate agent, are due to be quizzed by a judge today over allegations that planning permission was granted illegally for hundreds of new properties in Arona, many of them in Los Cristianos and Playa de las Américas, during a two year period ending in 2006. The investigation is thought to have been triggered after a dossier was sent by members of the opposition in the council to police last year. Other council officials, including the mayor, have been questioned in recent months about similar offences.
