Canary Islands - 05.05.2008 - 26-year-old Magdalena Rouco, niece of the head of the Episcopal Conference and an influential Cardinal, accused her uncle of double standards when he did not turn up to the funeral of her father. 'He is constantly stressing the importance of the family but does not practise what he preaches' said Magdalena, who -according to the Interviu magazine- had to marry at 16 because her uncle would not tolerate her moving in with her boyfriend.
