Migrant arrivals recommence The recent lull in arrivals of migrants in Gran Canaria ended yesterday when a boatload of Africans landed in Arguineguín.

Five of the occupants required medical care on arrival and two were taken to hospital as a precaution. Bone tests are to be carried out on a small number of the arrivals to check whether they are minors, in which case they cannot be deported.
