Playa de Las Américas - 08.05.2008 - The offices in the Americas Plaza centre were ordered to shut after the local council decided they were breaching timeshare promotion regulations. According to the El Día newspaper, the breaches included no business licence to carry out the activity and having staff pass themselves off as representatives of the island's Cabildo in their initial approaches to clients.
