Missing teenager turns up A teenage girl from Santa Cruz whose failure to return home after walking her dog sparked fears of an abduction has been found safe and sound.

Police were alerted and began searching areas near the route she would have taken with the dog, as concern grew that she may have been snatched. However, she was located at 4pm yesterday in a friend's house in La Laguna. The parents of her friend may face action over their role in concealing the girl despite knowing she had run away.
