Lanzarote - 16.05.2008 - The island's health officer confirmed that around 20 cases have been treated in the last four weeks but insists the numbers are not unusually high for the period. Parents of children at a number of schools in towns as far apart as Arrecife, Tias and Playa Blanca have expressed concern at a possible epidemic but they have been assured that the situation is under control and the number of cases is receding.
