Las Palmas - 23.06.2008 - Over 20,000 fans of the Puerto Rico singer watched the game against Italy on giant screens at the venue in Siete Palmas and the extra time and penalties needed to settle the match meant that Marc Anthony could not come on to the 44-metre stage until almost 11pm. The concert, the second of his Canarian trip after the previous night's gig in Tenerife, marks the beginning of  European tour which takes him (and his wife Jennifer López, who is accompanying him throughout) to Madrid, Barcelona and Rome, among other cities.
