Fears are growing for the fate of a Gran Canaria mother of two who has been missing since Monday. The woman, who works at the island's airport, disappeared from her home in Ingenio.

Gran Canaria - 03.07.2008 - According to her husband Susana Rodríguez had been suffering from depression but had given no indications that she was unhappy. Local searches carried out in the first 48 hours of her disappearance have since been widened to include other parts of the island, although the focus remains on the outskirts of her home town. Pictures of the missing 46-year-old have been published in the island's newspapers.
