Four migrants still in hospital

Four of the African migrants who arrived in La Gomera on Friday are still in hospital on the island.The four were part of a boat-load that landed in Playa Santiago and immediately hit the headlines because several of the occupants were dead on arrival.

La Gomera - 14.07.2008 - Two more of the Africans died shortly after arriving and the eleven others required treatment in the local hospital. The survivors say they tossed several more bodies of dead compatriots overboard during the crossing from Guinea Bissau.
