La Laguna - 14.07.2008 - Thousands of locals and visitors lined the streets for the event, which featured ox-drawn carts and a host of farm animals laden with agricultural products, to commemorate the summer harvest. As every year the animals congregated outside the small church named after the saint to receive his blessing before heading out for the parade. Folk groups from all the Canary Islands were recruited to take part in this year's event.
