La Laguna man held in child pornography investigationA 28-year-old man from La Laguna is one of 15 being held in Spain after raids on homes of members of a child pornography ring.

La Laguna - 15.07.2008 - Police arrested the man after a raid on his home a few days ago. The raid was part of a nationwide operation to close down the ring, which exchanged explicit images of children on the Net. He had deleted the pictures from his computer but officers from the cybercrime unit have managed to recover them from the hard disk. The investigation is being led by a judge in Badajoz (Extremadura) where the first evidence of the existence of the ring energed several months ago.
