Tenerife - 15.07.2008 - Corporations leaders from Arico to Santiago del Teide met in San Miguel de Abona yesterday to discuss issues of economic interest, including the impact of the giant centres and discount stores on business in their respective towns. The mayors also voiced their concern at the constant delays in the building of the new hospital near Los Cristianos and called on the regional Department of Health to ensure the facility is completed by 2010 and not the deadline of 2011 given by the government.
