Las Palmas - 17.07.2008 - Inspectors were called to the popular cafeteria in the Arenas Shoping Centre after reports from hospitals and health centres that dozens of people had required treatment. It is believed the cause of the problem was a sauce used to make sandwiches. 10 people were still in hospital last night due although none was in a serious condition.  The Department of Health ordered the immediate closure of the premises and another cafeteria run by the same company in a shopping centre in Vecindario.
