La Gomera - 18.07.2008 - Two of the migrants died shortly after arrival and another two had been tossed overboard after dying during the crossing. It has taken police almost a week to interview the 59 migrants and break the wall of silence surrounding who was responsible for sailing the boat during the treacherous trip from West Africa. Two of the occupants are still in a serious condition in hospitals in Tenerife. The four men also face charges of breaching immigration law.
