Castillo del Romeral - 12.08.2008 - A group of irate residents of the Castillo del Romeral area has spent the last week chained to the front of the council offices and the protestors say they will stay as long as it takes until they persuade the mayor to halt the works, which apparently do not have the required planning permission. 'So far the mayor has not met with us to discuss the problem, or even offered us the use of the toilets in the building' complained one of the protestors yesterday. A residents' meeting has been called for 8pm at the site of the chain protest to discuss the next pressure measures.
