Las Palmas - 19.08.2008 - Traffic and pedestrians were diverted in the Calle Reyes Católicos area as bomb disposal experts with sniffer dogs examined several suspicious bags, which turned out to contain clothing and office supplies but nothing dangerous. Normal business was resumed after several hours of disruption caused by the evacuation.
