La Gomera - 21.08.2008 - Ruymán García, who became mayor after a controversial motion of censure a few weeks ago, is said to have tried to abuse a 26-year-old dance instructor employed by the corporation. According to the Canarias 7 newspaper, the mother of two young children contacted police to report that the mayor asked her to accompany him to his hotel room to discuss her continued employment and then pressed her against the wall and made indecent suggestions to her.
