Black spot roads identified

Tenerife has 18 roads where driving is particularly hazardous, according to the Cabildo. A new study has identified a total of 41 accident black spots on the 18 roads, including the notorious bend on the motorway at El Sauzal in the north of the island.

Tenerife - 25.08.2008 - Other black spots identified are the tunnels at Güímar (both directions), the TF-64 between Granadilla and El Médano and various parts on the TF-655 between Las Chafiras and Los Cristianos. Four spots posing particular danger have also been identified on a 12km stretch of the motorway from Santa Cruz, south of the airport.
