Black spot roads identified Tenerife has 18 roads where driving is particularly hazardous, according to the Cabildo. A new study has identified a total of 41 accident black spots on the 18 roads, including the notorious bend on the motorway at El Sauzal in the north of the island.

Four spots posing particular danger have also been identified on a 12km stretch of the motorway from Santa Cruz, south of the airport.
