Canary Islands - 29.08.2008 - Traffic problems are expected to be worse this year given that the end of the month falls on a week-end. The ferry terminals in Los Cristianos and La Gomera will have their busiest period of the year as of tomorrow and the motorways out of the resorts in Tenerife and Gran Canaria can expect very heavy traffic, particularly on Sunday. Drivers have been urged to stagger their departures as of this evening in order not to create gridlock on the roads late on Sunday.
