Santa Cruz - 03.09.2008 - The show, Made in Spain, focuses on Spanish gastronomy and is anchored by chef 39-year-old José Andrés, who runs a chain of exclusive restaurants in the Washington area and shot to fame here with a TV cookery programme in 2005. Andrés visited the market in Santa Cruz with cameras as part of a special feature on Canarian food and the historic role of the islands in terms of the introduction of varieties of fruits and vegetables on both sides of the Atlantic.
