Arico - 30.09.2008 - A mature goat's cheese with pepper and 'gofio' was chosen as the top product by tasters at the event, which was held outside the UK for the first time and attracted almost 2000 cheeses from all over the world. Canarian cheeses received 12 awards in all, including four gold medals. Next year's Awards will be held in Las Palmas.
