Santiago del Teide - 06.10.2008 - According to the island's PSOE party, the leader of the UK's Labour Party in Europe, Gary Titley, has asked senior Spanish MEP Manuel Medina, who is in charge of municipal policy at the Parliament, and a Santiago del Teide councillor to meet him on Wednesday to discusss the alleged police brutality, which is believed to have forced the victims to give up their residency here and return to Britain. Further details of the allegations are expected later in the week.
