Gran Canaria - 19.11.2008 - A large group of locals wearing reflective jackets gathered at the roundabout near Juan Grande leading to the site and staged a short demonstration. Several months ago the residents blocked the arrival of excavators and bulldozers, forcing police to intervene to allow the land to be cleared.
