Granadilla man held in paedophile probeA man from Granadilla in Tenerife is being questioned by police as part of a nationwide operation into the activities of a paedophile ring.

Granadilla - 21.11.2008 - The operation was launched after a member of the public contacted police in Jaen (Andalusia) to report that a file containing videos of child pornography was circulating on Internet. The images were cleverly disguised using names of popular video games. Raids carried out in six Spanish provinces have led to the seizure of computers and other materials, which are being examined at present. According to unconfirmed reports yesterday, one other member of the ring lives in Las Palmas.
