The arrests were made as part of Operation Ninja carried out in 15 of Spain's 17 regions. 40 people have been detained in total and further arrests are expected in the coming days. Police say the 25-year-old detained in Breña Baja (La Palma) had 17,500 images of children on his computer, half of the total amount seized in the raids. It is believed a fifth man, from Arona in Tenerife, is also being questioned but has not been arrested.
