14.02.2007 - The Canarian premiership side had already lost narrowly to Serbians Zeleznik in the first leg of the last sixteen fixture and went down again in the return by six points. Things could have been so different if Gran Canaria had managed to hold on to a seven-point lead built up in the early stages. However, the losses of Vroman and Norris, both of whom fouled out in the last quarter, proved too much of a handicap and the Serbians took the lead with a few minutes remaining, running out winners by 70-64.
